Bills’ Josh Allen surpasses Tom Brady and sits alone in NFL history with latest accomplishment
Take a bow, No. 17.
Buffalo Bills quarterback has outdone the legend Tom Brady. Never in my life, when Allen was drafted, did I think that he would turn out this good. Sure, there were signs that Allen would be great, but I doubt anyone could have anticipated what Allen’s been able to do throughout his career.
Since joining the league, he’s been silencing critics left and right, and the latest league development is just further proof of Allen’s greatness in the league. While they weren’t able to win it all, Allen still had a phenomenal season that’s one for the history books.
Allen has the most consecutive seasons with a 90+ grade in the PFF era. Brady only managed to pull that off four times throughout his career. Another feather in the cap for No. 17.
Allen finished his 2025 season going 319-460 (69.3%) for 3,668 yards and 25 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. He added 112 carries for 579 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground. The greatest dual-threat quarterback we may ever see in our generation.
Josh Allen had an exceptional 2025 season based on the numbers
In the 2025 season, Allen had plenty of accolades and established himself in the NFL record books, having the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in his career in NFL history, surpassing Cam Newton for the honors.
Another day, more records for No. 17. Even on his day off from work, he’s finding himself taking down some of the greatest quarterbacks to ever lace up their cleats, a remarkable job from Allen.
At some point, it stops being about potential and starts being about legacy.
Allen isn’t just chasing history anymore; he’s rewriting it. Passing Tom Brady in any category isn’t just something you stumble into. It’s something you earn through sustained dominance, year after year, under the brightest of lights in the league.
The Super Bowl will always be the goal. But while the ring remains the unfinished chapter, the resume keeps stacking up at a pace few quarterbacks in NFL history can come close to matching.
Another season, another record. Another reminder that we’re watching one of the greatest to ever do it, and he’s not done yet.
