It’s safe to say that Tutu Atwell has likely played his last snap in Los Angeles.

After the retirement of right tackle Rob Havenstein, the Los Angeles Rams are set to have just 13 free agents in the offseason. While I’m not sure how many of these players the Rams will want to have back, there are some worth monitoring this offseason as LA gears up for one more Super Bowl run with Matthew Stafford.

Ahead of free agency beginning, we will be taking a look at each free agent, breaking down what they did last season and whether or not they should be retained.

What Tutu Atwell did in 2025

Not much! After the Rams bizarrely extended him in the offseason, Atwell got phased out of the gameplan entirely. He caught just six passes on a $10 million deal, and didn’t even play a snap on special teams to make up for it.

Atwell did catch the game-winning touchdown over the Indianapolis Colts, but appeared in just 11 games all season long and averaged just a target per game. He played just 15 snaps in the Rams’ playoff run this season.

Tutu Atwell’s projection for 2026

I think it’s safe to say Atwell won’t be a Ram next season. They don’t have a spot for him with their shift to heavier personnel, and there’s no rationale to keep him around (admittedly, there wasn’t much before they offered him the extension last year) for 2026. His production was akin to a UDFA despite playing a fully guaranteed deal.

While he is still capable of producing some occasional splash plays, Atwell has to be taken off the field most of the time due to his inability to run block, and he doesn’t play on special teams, making his value fairly low.

Contract prediction: One year, $3 million max value, $1 million guaranteed
