Maxx Crosby is officially back on the Las Vegas Raiders after a brief and unexpected turn of events. Before the new league year started, he was set to be traded to the Baltimore Ravens.

However, on Tuesday night, after his physical came back negative, Baltimore chose to back out of the deal. As a result, Vegas is keeping Crosby for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, an announcement he made on Wednesday night.

And as Raiders fans across the country started celebrating the fact that their favorite player, maybe of all time, was back in Silver and Black, Crosby was thinking about how he would make everyone pay. We know the type of player he is, and he’s going to take the fact that the Ravens backed out of the trade personally. He’s going to take ot personal that some teams didn’t want to offer two first-round picks. Luckily for him, the 2027 season will provide Crosby with the perfect opportunity to get his feet back.

The Raiders play the Ravens next in 2027

The schedule isn’t out yet because it hasn’t even been released for the 2026 season. However, we do know who the Raiders’ opponents will be in 2027. Their 2027 opponents are as follows:

2027 Home Opponents: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, AFC East TBD, NFC East TBD

2027 Away Opponents: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, AFC South TBD

The schedule isn’t out yet, and it won’t be, but you better believe that Crosby will have that game in particular circled on his calendar. And, we can almost guarantee that Crosby will be with the Raiders in 2027 by then, too. On Friday, there’s a trigger for Crosby’s contract and base 2027 pay.

He’s due $29 million in fully guaranteed salary for 2027 on Friday. So, the Raiders could have either pushed the contract trigger deadline, which they can mutually agree to do. If they did that, it could mean that both sides are still mutually interested in pursuing a trade. That will obviously not happen. Crosby is a Raider, and he can’t wait to beat up on the Ravens.
