The Buffalo Bills have the best quarterback on the planet playing for the team in Josh Allen. The 2024 MVP, on many occasions, put the team on his back and willed them to victory, doing damage with both his arms and his legs.

He’s one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in all of NFL history, surpassing quarterback Cam Newton for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL history.

The offseason has treated Allen well, rehabbing from a broken bone in his foot and welcoming a new baby into the world. Not only that, but he got a chance to celebrate one of his best friends by attending the wedding of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold.

The fun doesn’t end there for Allen, as he got quite the gift from NBA legend and future Hall of Famer LeBron James. James appeared on the podcast “Bob Does Sports,” where the topic of Allen and his greatness came up. Specifically, both Bob and LeBron hope that Allen and the Bills finally get over the hump and reach the Super Bowl.

“Josh and Lamar is my two guys in the NFL I want to see win a Super Bowl,” James said.

It makes things a little difficult for James, as both quarterback Lamar Jackson and Allen play in the same division, so it’ll have to be one or the other.

“Unfortunately, they both in the AFC, so somebody is going to have to not get one,” James said.

LeBron James is a big fan of Josh Allen

It’s hard not to be a fan of Allen; he does insane things on the football field and has more than his fair share of awe-inspiring moments during both the regular season and the playoffs. When Allen puts on his Superman cape, incredible things happen.

“I love him. I think he’s so good [ . . . ] I definitely root for him during the season,” James said.

Allen is such a likeable guy, as Bob shared during the video. Allen came through on a major promise after scoring a touchdown during the regular season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where Allen’s post-touchdown celebration was queued up by the guys at “Bob Does Sports” months before.

And that’s exactly why this “gift” from LeBron James carries so much weight.

It’s not just praise from a global icon; it’s validation that what Bills Mafia has been seeing for years is finally undeniable on the biggest stage. From backyard-style plays to MVP moments, Allen has become one of the faces of the entire sport.

Now with his health trending up, a new chapter off the field, and expectations as high as ever in Buffalo, the only thing left to do is cash it all in.

And if LeBron gets his wish, that long-awaited Super Bowl run might not be far behind.
