The Miami Dolphins pick early in the 2026 NFL Draft. But not early enough to avoid being at the mercy of the board come Thursday night.

The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off in just 10 days and, to celebrate the occasion, we’ve seen a swell of draft content already this week. Daniel Jeremiah, one of the NFL Draft’s biggest heavyweights, jumped into the fray with a surprise — he and Rich Eisen ran through a top-10 2026 NFL mock draft this morning on SportsCenter. The draw for Miami at No. 11 is…fascinating.

I’ll spare you the fits — if you want to know who Daniel Jeremiah has going where, feel free to watch the mock draft! It really is secondary to this exercise, too. For the Miami Dolphins in particular, the power here is knowing which 10 prospects Jeremiah expects to be off the board by the time the Dolphins come on the clock with their first pick at No. 11 overall. Here is who Jeremiah has coming off the board in the top-10:

  • QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana
  • RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame
  • WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State
  • WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State
  • OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami
  • OT Spencer Fano, Utah
  • EDGE David Bailey, Texas Tech
  • LB Arvell Reese, Ohio State
  • LB Sonny Styles, Ohio State
  • SAF Caleb Downs, Ohio State

Among the best players available on the board in Jeremiah’s scenario? LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane and Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy (McCoy has some medical flags). Miami EDGE Rueben Bain Jr., who just yesterday had a report emerge about a reckless driving charge in 2024 that tragically resulted in the death of a young woman. Miami’s comfort in Bain’s situation could cause them to pass.

Other notable talents include Penn State guard Olaivavega Ioane, Oregon safety Dillon Thieneman, and USC wide receiver Makai Lemon, who the Miami Dolphins are hosting on a 30-visit today.

Miami would have no shortage of options at their disposal. That’s kind of the them of their draft as a whole. Their first choice, though, is one we’ll be watching closely. It’s good to know Jeremiah’s vision for the early draft leaves them an enticing menu to choose from all the same.
