The Browns made a big investment adding KC Concepcion in the first round. Concepcion is coming to Cleveland to make a splash and he said as much Thursday night.

Entering the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns had two key needs to fill with their first two picks. Cleveland left the first round with OT Spencer Fano and WR KC Concepcion to fill those two needs for the roster.

Cleveland isn’t getting a quarterback upgrade this offseason, so the next best thing they could do is upgrade the offense around the position. Strengthening the offensive line has been a point of emphasis all offseason, and the Browns got a lot more explosive by adding Concepcion on Thursday night.

KC Concepcion has a message for Browns fans following Cleveland’s draft decision

“I make plays,” Concepcion said after being drafted. “I can play anywhere [and] I can run any route. Whenever I get there, you guys are going to be getting a dog all over the field.”

The Browns spent the No. 24 overall pick on the Texas A&M product and Cleveland is getting a player who can do some real damage with his ability to break free and run after the catch. Concepcion is 5-foot-11, 195 pounds and he’s a tough player to bring down with the ball in his hands.

Last season with Texas A&M, Concepcion went for 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games played. The Browns’ new wideout had 1,299 receiving yards and 16 touchdown catches in 25 games at North Carolina State during his first two college seasons before he transferred to play for the Aggies.

“I mean my message to Browns fans is to get the popcorn ready,” Concepcion stated. “I’m ready right now. I’m ready to play [and] I’m ready to change the organization.”

Concepcion is certainly entering the NFL with the mindset and he’s confident in the player he is. The Browns needed more juice on offense and Concepcion fits the idea like a glove. I have a feeling the rookie wideout is going to be a fan favorite early on.
