The Tennessee Vols are a contender to flip a 4-star cornerback from an ACC program
The Tennessee Vols are a threat to swipe a four-star cornerback from an ACC program.
The Tennessee Vols are a team to watch in 2027 four-star cornerback Allen Evans’ recruitment.
Evans, 6-foot-2/182 pounds from Louisville, KY, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 10 cornerback in the nation and the No. 69 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class.
The talented defensive back has been committed to Louisville since January, but other programs are hoping to flip him, including the Vols.
Evans isn’t planning to take visits this summer, though he could this fall.
“The big-bodied cornerback has had a terrific offseason shining at multiple camps,” noted Rivals.com’s Greg Smith. “He committed to Louisville back in January, but other programs have continued to monitor his status. He told me that he won’t take visits this summer but is considering doing so in the fall. Alabama, Penn State and Tennessee are all schools to watch.”
Evans visited Tennessee last season for the Vols’ homecoming win against New Mexico State.
