Former Vol Alvin Kamara’s latest actions makes it very clear how he feels about the University of Tennessee
Former Tennessee Volunteers star running back Alvin Kamara is doing his old school a solid this weekend.
Tennessee Vols fans will never have to wonder how former UT running back Alvin Kamara feels about Rocky Top.
Kamara made it quite clear this weekend that he’s a VFL — and not just in name.
The New Orleans Saints running back is helping Tennessee out this weekend by coming to town for five-star running back David Gabriel Georges’ official visit.
Kamara subtly confirmed via his Instagram story that he’s in town for Gabriel Georges’ visit.

Kamara is one of Gabriel Georges’ favorite running backs, so it’s a big deal that the former Vol came to Knoxville this weekend.
And it should leave Vols fans with no doubt that Kamara has a lot of love for Tennessee — especially considering that he was in unexpectedly in New Orleans this week for OTAs amid uncertainty surrounding his future with the team. He’s got a lot going on right now, and he doesn’t even know if he’ll have a job in the NFL a month from now. And he still made time to help Vols head coach Josh Heupel and his staff out this weekend.
Showing up in June to help their old school land its top recruiting target isn’t something that many NFL players are making time to do. Kamara is special — on and off the field.
