Things to know about Bengals training camp
Cincinnati will conduct most training camp practices leading up to the start of the preseason, and host two practices after its first exhibition against the Detroit Lions.
- All but three practices will start at 10:00 a.m. ET.
- You do not need tickets for any practice completely open to the public on the practice fields.
- Not every practice will be the same. Some will feature full pads, some will not.
Morning practice start time continues
The Bengals made a significant change last year by holding training camp practices in the morning instead of the afternoon. That will continue this year after the 2025 team started 2-0 to open the season.
“You can get your physical work done and then have all day to adjust, be around the guys and learn,” Bengals center Ted Karras said last year. “When you’re install in the morning, you have that nervous energy for practice. You don’t know if you’re going to do well or not. So you’re not as locked in. But when you practice in the morning and then watch practice, put that to bed and then get on to the next day with a no-pressure learning situation.”
Annual stadium practice
The Bengals’ yearly practice inside Paycor Stadium on Friday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. is free and open to the public. Tickets can be claimed for free on Thursday, July 23 in the Bengals app.
There will be more than just a practice that evening as family-friendly activities and photo opportunities will be located throughout the stadium.
