Former Tennessee Vols tight end Princeton Fant was carted off the field at Dallas Cowboys training camp after suffering an apparent knee injury on Monday.

Fant took a knee-to-knee hit after being blocked into running back Israel Abanikanda.

The former Vol was unable to put any weight on his left leg after taking the hit, which is why he eventually required the cart to leave the field.

Here’s the play that caused the injury.

Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reported that Fant is scheduled to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.

Fant landed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He’s bounced between the active roster and the practice squad over the last three seasons.
