The Bills’ depth will be put to the test in Week 3 with an AFC East showdown against the Miami Dolphins.

Buffalo has already ruled out S Micah Hyde, CB Tre’Davious White, CB Dane Jackson, and DT Jordan Phillips.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that DT Ed Oliver will also miss Sunday’s contest as he continues to work through an ankle injury. Oliver originally suffered the injury in the season opener against the Rams, but was held out of last week’s game against the Titans.

That’s not all either.

WR Gabe Davis, TE Dawson Knox, C Mitch Morse, S Jordan Poyer, and DT Tim Settle are all questionable versus the Dolphins.

Already without every starter in the secondary, the Bills’ highly touted defensive line will be missing the size of Oliver and Phillips in the trenches.

With Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa setting the world on fire with wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, getting pressure on the NFL’s leading passer will be paramount.

The Bills showcased their No. 1 rush defense in Week 2, holding Titans RB Derrick Henry to just 25 yards on 13 carries. It’s a unit that is allowing an average of 66 rushing yards per game.

Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier will have his hands full on Sunday. Though the Bills will be missing impact starters, don’t count out Frazier and the Bills’ top-flight pass rush just yet.
