ESPN recently made several predictions for non-playoff NFL teams and they made a bold prediction for the Chicago Bears.

Aaron Schatz predicted that Chicago will trade for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

Jeudy, a former Alabama standout, was the No. 15 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

From ESPN:

The Bears will trade for a wide receiver. One great candidate would be the Broncos’ Jerry Jeudy, a 2024 free agent. Denver might not have the cap space to retain him, and he’d be a big boost to Chicago’s offense.

I think this would be a great move by the Bears.

The biggest objective for Chicago general manager Ryan Poles this offseason has to be getting quarterback Justin Fields some help — specifically at wide receiver.

Fields has the talent to be a superstar in the NFL, but he can’t do it all on his own.

Jeudy still has a high ceiling and he’s coming off a solid year in which he caught 67 passes for 972 yards and six touchdowns while playing in one of the worst offenses in the NFL. He could be a legitimate weapon for Fields and the Bears.

It should be a wild offseason for the Bears. And I’m sure there will be some trades. Adding Jeudy to the roster is certainly a trade that Chicago should consider.
