Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow are in lock step with each other.

The two former LSU teammates have one of the best relationships in the NFL.

But that doesn't mean they're always going to see eye to eye.

Chase recently spoke with Bengals Talk and he was asked about Burrow, who is currently sidelined with a calf injury, going through an on-field workout late last week.

Chase didn't seem thrilled that Burrow was already back on the field throwing and running.

"I didn't know he was doing that," said Chase. "He's still hard headed like I said. He does sh-t like that that's hard headed. Nobody knows what he's doing, so what can you say?"

Chase also insisted that he hasn't talked to Burrow about his injury (though perhaps that was just to keep reporters from asking him about Burrow's continued recovery).

There's obviously no discontent between Chase and Burrow. But it seems obvious that Chase doesn't love that Burrow is rushing to get back to the field — though Chase admitted that he'd do the same thing (try to return for Week one) if he was in Burrow's position.

Burrow just wants to win and Chase just wants his teammate to be healthy. It's hard to argue that either player is wrong.
