Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had the best “drop the mic” moment of the entire 2022 season on Sunday afternoon after beating the Buffalo Bills to advance to the AFC Championship game.
Ahead of the Bengals’ matchup against the Bills, the NFL directed Buffalo and the Kansas City Chiefs to start selling tickets for a potential neutral site AFC Championship game in Atlanta.
Around 50,000 tickets were reportedly sold.
Burrow and the Bengals weren’t too thrilled about those tickets going on sale. They took it as the NFL assuming that they’d lose to the Bills.
So after Cincinnati’s dominating 27-10 win against Buffalo, Burrow had a message for the NFL.
“Better send those refunds,” said Burrow.

Joey B is the best. There’s nothing else to say at this point. He exudes confidence from the moment he steps onto the field and his teammates feed off that.
Cincinnati has felt disrespected for the last couple of weeks (first the coin toss situation with the Baltimore Ravens and now the tickets in Atlanta). And they’ve taken it out on their opponents on the field.
Now the Bengals are just one game away from their second straight Super Bowl appearance. But to get there, they’ll have to beat the Chiefs on the road for the second straight season.
After watching what Burrow and Cincy did against the Bills, I’m not sure I’d bet against the Bengals right now.
