The Dallas Cowboys made a pair of two important offseason trades in hopes of bolstering the roster ahead of the 2023 NFL season. That was acquiring both wide receiver Brandin Cooks and defensive back Stephon Gilmore.

Cooks and Gilmore are set to play significant roles for the Cowboys right out of the gate. With Cooks complementing CeeDee Lamb on offense and Gilmore teaming up with Trevon Diggs in the secondary.

It hasn't taken very long for Cooks to make an impression with the Cowboys since joining the team. On the field, he is flashing his downfield ability and speed that should pay off in a big way for Dak Prescott.

Off the field, he appears to be getting along with the group, too. Which was really highlighted ahead of the team's preseason matchup with the Seattle Seahawks over the weekend.

For background, the Pro Bowl receiver is a licensed pilot. And he just so happened to take Gilmore and Micah Parsons on a flight over Seattle before Dallas kicked off in Washington.

Which is awesome. But also a little uneasy, considering who was on the flight. But nonetheless, it's an interesting team-bonding experience for the two new big-name Cowboys and the All-Pro pass rusher.

Hopefully, that leads to success on the field. Although instead of being the pilot of the offense, Cooks will be one of the trusted targets of Prescott with the quarterback in control.

It's always something with the Dallas Cowboys. Brandin Cooks took that to a whole new level with the flight this weekend.
