The Dallas Cowboys (6-3) are enjoying a very successful season despite a bumpy road since January.

And, according to NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, things could get even better after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Both Rapoport and Pelissero released a report early Sunday morning stating that Odell Beckham Jr., one of the hottest name’s in the league, plans to visit the Cowboys after Thanksgiving.

It’s not just a fun trip to Dallas, either. It’s a business trip.

OBJ and the Cowboys both have mutual interest in adding him to the roster and the plan is to hash things out in hopes of making said interest into reality.

But, the Cowboys won’t be without serious competition. Beckham Jr. is also reported to visit with his former team and Cowboys’ rival, the New York Giants after the holiday.

“The Cowboys and Giants have emerged as two of the favorites to sign free-agent receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who plans to visit both NFC East rivals after this week’s Thanksgiving holiday, per sources.

These are the only known visits scheduled for Beckham, though he could take others before making a decision on where to sign.”

Make no mistake: If the Cowboys land Beckham Jr., especially over the Giants, it’ll be a major development. It could also make them favorites to win the ultra-competitive NFC East. Even with the Philadelphia Eagles at 8-1 and the Giants at 7-2.

Rapoport and Pelissero also note Beckham Jr. should visit the Cowboys on Monday, November 28 or Tuesday, November 29. By that time, he should be ready to pass a physical, which is the last step toward joining a team.
