Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones recently addressed the scary situation of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

Jones spoke about what happened on Monday night during his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan:

“It’s concern for Damar’s family, his loved ones, his teammates, that entire Bills organization and really the Bengals, as well, they were so much a part of it there," Jones said while on Shan and RJ.

"It was certainly the most different thing that I’ve ever watched relative just to just the sincere outpouring of interest in Damar’s family’s well-being, and of course Damar."

Hamlin suddenly collapsed during the second quarter of the Bill's game against the Bengals. What initially looked like a routine play quickly turned into a scary scene. He was immediately attended to by medical staff before being rushed to the hospital.

The Cowboys' owner made it clear that he was not concerned about the game. Instead, the "immediate care" went to Hamlin and his family.

Jerry Jones said he could not recall a more fearful on-field situation than what occurred with Damar Hamlin last night. “Everybody’s immediate care went to exactly where it should be – that was to him, his family and his teammates,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan.

A second-year defensive back, Damar Hamlin has been coming into his own for the contending Bills this season. He is among the top-tacklers at his position across the league and has played a key role for a team expected to compete for the Super Bowl.

The Buffalo Bills released a statement regarding Hamlin early Tuesday morning:

"Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game versus the Bengals. His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition," the statement read.

The NFL made the decision to postpone the game. It has not been revealed when — or if — the matchup will be rescheduled.
