When the Denver Broncos drafted Jerry Jeudy in the first round of the 2020 draft, expectations were sky-high. Jeudy was the second wide receiver off the board and had all the makings of a future star.

However, Jeudy has had a very up-and-down start to his NFL career. While he has shown flashes of his pre-draft hype, he has been unable to play consistently great football so far in his career.

Jeudy is coming off his best pro season, as he finished the year with a career-high 67 receptions, 972 yards, and six touchdowns.

One major issue that has kept Jeudy from reaching his full potential is that he can't catch the ball consistently. He finished last season with a catch rate of 67%, which puts him at 101st in the league.

Due to these struggles and Jeudy's lack of consistency, it seems like the Broncos could move on from him this offseason

"The Broncos have been engaging in discussions with other teams about their wide receivers, according to multiple reports. That includes Jeudy, the No. 15 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, The Athletic’s Jeff Howe reported Monday. The price the Broncos are asking for Jeudy “has remained high,” Howe reported, citing a league source, and other reports indicate the Broncos have also demanded significant returns in any potential deals for wide receivers Courtland Sutton or KJ Hamler." –The Athletic's Nick Kosmider

The Broncos also desperately need more draft capital, as they traded a large chunk of it away in the trade for Russell Wilson. Speculation is that the Broncos are looking for a first-round pick in return, but even getting a couple of second-rounders would help the Broncos begin to recoup that draft capital.

It is also unknown if the Broncos are actively shopping Jeudy or just assessing his trade value from teams across the league.

Either way, Jeudy is a name to keep an eye on as draft season quickly approaches.
