Many thought the Kansas City Chiefs found a steal in undrafted free agent Justyn Ross, but they’ll have to wait until at least 2023 to find out.
That’s because the Chiefs placed Ross on season-ending IR Monday. Ross began training camp on the Active/PUP list, due to clean-up surgery on the foot he injured last November. Said surgery is what will keep him out for the year.
The Chiefs announced the news and also announced the signing of two offensive tackles in David Steinmetz and Eric Ksiezarczyk.

Ross played college ball at Clemson and many thought he was on the way to becoming one of the nation’s best receivers before injury derailed his collegiate career. He was expected to compete for one of the receiver positions behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Skyy Moore.
