Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller is one of the best players in the league at his position. This season, he will be a part of the most exciting offense that the Raiders have had in a long time. He also just put a bit more pressure on himself inside the league after his comments on Bussin’ with the Boys.

Waller is confident in his abilities. He certainly should be. The raiders TE has been one of the most dominant receiving forces in the league over the past three seasons. He only started eleven games last season, so his production took a hit. That being said, he is still a versatile weapon that is a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and Waller have a great relationship as well. Plus, add WR Davante Adams into the offense, and you’re looking at even more 1-on-1 opportunities for the Raiders tight end. He exploits those pretty often.

His comments may fuel some opponents. You could even call it “bulletin board” material. Covering Waller is a tough job for any linebacker, though. His size/speed combination creates a mismatch on every single play for most any defender.

It will be interesting to see if any storylines develop throughout the season due to what Waller had to say about opposing linebackers. If one has an especially impressive game against him, he and all of Raiders nation will probably hear about it plenty.
