The Las Vegas Raiders obviously need help on the defensive side of the ball. Luckily for them, free agency and the draft are both coming up.

Also luckily for them, they have a ton of cap space, $39 million to be exact, which is the fourth most in the league. They also have the number seven pick of the draft. So, they have options if they truly want to improve their defense.

If they were to go the free agency route, the perfect candidate to help their pass rush and defensive line, in general, is Dre'Mont Jones, the Denver Broncos interior defender.

That's right, the Raiders would be stealing a division rival's key player. In fact, you could say he was one of their three best defensive players.

He led them in sacks and tackles for loss. Jones is a beast, and outside of Maxx Crosby and maybe Chandler Jones, no one else on the defensive line really did much for the Raiders.

Crosby was the Raiders' entire defensive line at times. He was their pass rush and was amazing in the run defense too. So, they will need all of the help they can get, and Jones isn't a bad option either.

According to spotrac, Jones projected market value is $17 million annually. As things currently stand, the Broncos only have $9 million in cap space. So, unless they make drastic changes, they can't afford him.

The Raiders, however, can afford him. Giving him a deal like that and locking the 26-year-old up long-term would be perfect. but, let's see if he would be willing to go to a team he is supposed to hate. Then again, it happens all the time.
