The Las Vegas Raiders fell short in Week 1 to their division rival the Los Angeles Chargers. This week, they have a chance to even their record against an Arizona Cardinals team that is struggling in nearly every way.

The defense did fairly well against the Chargers last week. This week, it could be much of the same, only better. Here are three defensive players that you should watch during the games, as these guys could go off.

Chandler Jones, EDGE

Jones did not have the best game against the Chargers, and I think we all saw that. It was more the fact that whoever was opposite of him, just had the better game, whether it was Rashawn Slater or Trey Pipkins.

This Sunday, the Raiders’ defensive line could dominate, and that includes Jones. Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs pass rush gave the Cardinals problems, and if we are comparing the Chiefs to the Raiders in that area, the Raiders are much better.

Jones will be the opposite of either D.J Humphries or Kelvin Beachum. Both aren’t as good as the Chargers left and right tackles.

Maxx Crosby, EDGE

For the same reasons Jones will have a great game, Crosby will as well. Crosby is the better of the two, in my opinion, and will likely draw more attention than Jones will. That may sound crazy, but with the stage they’re both at in their careers, it’s true.

Crosby had the most quarterback pressures in Week 1 with seven. He can surely put up better numbers than that with a worse offensive line in Humphries and Beachum.

Rock Ya-Sin, Cornerback

Ya-Sin can have a huge game on Sunday, for one main reason, to be honest. The Cardinals are without DeAndre Hopkins and could be without tight end Zach Ertz, receiver Rondale Moore, and receiver Andy Isabella.

That means Ya-Sin could be matched up against A.J. Green. Yes, Green is a good receiver, but he isn’t great like he used to be. I have full confidence that Ya-Sin can win that battle. Look for him to have a big game against the Cardinals as well.
