The events that have transpired over the last few weeks have been middling with some fans of the Las Vegas Raiders. As we all know by now, Derek Carr is no longer with the team and will either be traded or cut. Some fans hate that this is what is happening, and other fans couldn’t be more happier.

Either way, you look at it, Carr has been the leader and the face of the Raiders franchise for nine years, which is a long time. There have been high moments, and low moments, very low. But, it was time for a change.

Carr released his statement on Thursday, saying goodbye to his once longtime family.

Carr still has a ton of juice left in the tank, and I think he could help a team reach the playoffs. There are a ton of fans that don’t feel that way. But, I do know one thing. Wherever he ends up, if he plays the Raiders, they better have a tribute video for him.
