The Las Vegas Raiders could receive a boost heading into Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks, by adding some players that have been out for quite some time now.

Nate Hobbs, the Raiders’ best defensive back, and maybe their second-best player on that side of the ball, was elevated on Wednesday off of the injured reserve list.

“He will be back working today, but we will obviously have to make the decision,” McDaniels said about Nate Hobbs returning for Sunday’s game.

While we don’t know yet if Hobbs will play on Sunday, that would be a very significant boost to their defense.

The defense has been terrible this season, especially in coverage. Hobbs was one of the best in that area before he got injured.

They could also get offensive lineman Kolton Miller back, who may be their best guy up front, at least in my opinion. Then again, it isn’t hard to beat the others out for that top spot.

“We will see how this week goes,” McDaniels said when asked about Kolton Miller. “It will be interesting to see how these next few days go.”

Miller could help protect Carr from what is a great pass rush in Seattle. He is also a decent run blocker, and the Raiders have been running the ball effectively with Josh Jacobs.

This is definitely something to monitor for the rest of the week.
