Tennessee’s secondary had a rough season in 2021. The Vols were dead last in the SEC in passing defense a year ago, giving up 273.2 yards per game through the air. Now, the only place to go is up and transfer players and newcomers could be the answer that the unit is looking for. Wesley Walker, a Georgia Tech transfer, and former Ohio State safety Andre Turrentine could all contribute in 2022 along with an eager set of freshman players.
