The Tennessee Titans (0-2) should look to expose one major weakness against the Las Vegas Raiders (0-2) in a Week 3 matchup between two winless teams.

Through the first two weeks of the season the Raiders boast the fifth-worst pass defense in the NFL.

Not only have they struggled against wide receivers, but opposing tight ends have had their way against the silver and black.

With Cardinals TE Zach Ertz and Chargers TE Gerald Everett doing most of the heavy lifting, the Raiders defense has allowed 15 catches, 155 receiving yards, and one touchdown to opposing tight ends.

The Titans went out and signed TE Austin Hooper to a one-year deal worth $6 million in the offseason.

In two games Hooper has caught just two passes for 25 yards on the season, but has an opportunity to break out in Week 3.

Hooper’s plate will be pretty full as he will likely be asked to chip in to help the Titans’ short-handed offensive line with a dynamic Raiders pass rush.

Rookie TE Chig Okonkwo, who is lauded for his pass-catching ability, could factor into the team’s offensive game plan as well.

The Raiders primarily use linebackers Divine Deablo and former Titan Jayon Brown to blanket tight ends, which could present an edge for the speedy Okonkwo.

The slumping Titans’ offense should be turning over every stone in order to find an advantage in the passing game.

Sunday makes for the perfect opportunity to get some work out of a couple of new toys in Hooper and Okonkwo.
