NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans are considering all options as they await more information on a knee injury sustained by left tackle Taylor Lewan. The three-time Pro Bowl lineman went down on the first offensive play of Tennessee's Monday night loss to the Buffalo Bills.
In a positive development, there are no definitive answers as of Wednesday morning after initial fears that Lewan might be done for the season.
The Titans left tackle will not be at practice today as he seeks further outside evaluation. Lewan was carted off the field with the right knee injury after being helped to the sideline by trainers in Buffalo. In the postgame locker room, Lewan required crutches and a sleeve on the knee to be able to move around on his own.
"As of now I don't really have any updates on (Lewan)," coach Mike Vrabel said on Tuesday. "We're still going through some evaluations. We will try to keep you updated on that as it comes."
Reserve lineman Dennis Daley filled in against the Bills in Lewan's absence.
