Roster cuts have begun around the league. For the Tennessee Titans, one of their moves today was a bit surprising. They cut ties with safety Tyree Gillespie after trading for him just a couple of weeks ago.

The Titans acquired Gillespie in mid-august to attempt to increase depth in the secondary. They have been looking for more competition in the secondary. Expect Theo Jackson, A.J. Moore, among others to provide depth as of now for the Titans.

They could look to players who will be subject to roster cuts around the league as well. It will be interesting to see what their depth looks like when the season opens.
