The Tennessee Titans continue in their quest to find a competent rotational pass rusher with a new signing on Monday.

The Titans swiped defensive end Mario Edwards from the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad. In a corresponding move, the team waived outside linebacker Derrek Tuszka.

Edwards (28) is playing in his eighth year in the NFL. He has bounced around the league, spending time with the Raiders, Giants, Saints, and Bears.

He has logged 25 starts in 86 games played, totaling 118 tackles and 16.5 sacks.

In 2021, Edwards played in 12 games for the Bears and was credited with two sacks on the year.

If activated, Edwards will serve as a depth piece to a banged-up pass rush that was without Bud Dupree and Ola Adeniyi in Week 3. The Titans will continue to miss Pro Bowl EDGE Harold Landry for the remainder of the season.
