Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has officially revealed what number he will wear during his first NFL season.
Levis previously wore number seven in college. But with that number currently taken by Malik Willis, he was forced to make a change. Between the QB eligible numbers and the numbers still available, Levis was choosing between 5, 8, 10, 14 and 19.
Over the weekend, Levis hopped on Twitter to inform the fans about his decision.
It started with a photo that Levis posted showing off some Nashville themed merch, including a Nashville SC towel, Nashville SC shirt, Predators hat, and custom Predators jersey with "Levis" and number eight on the back.
Did this mean Levis would be taking Marcus Mariota's old number and be the next Titans QB to wear number eight?
Levis confirmed the suspicions on Saturday when he tweeted "It was always 8." Levis had originally said that he was referring to Kentucky Derby winner Mage, but followed up by revealing that would be his jersey number for the 2023 season.
Sounds like it's safe for Titans fans to get those jersey orders in. Levis will be rocking number eight in the two-tone blue for 2023.
