The Tennessee Vols are among the programs in pursuit of 2027 four-star defensive back Xavier Hasan.
Hasan, 6-foot/180 lbs from Raleigh, NC, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 6 cornerback in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina. He’s also rated as the No. 49 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class.
Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, Penn State, South Carolina, NC State, Duke, Georgia, and Ohio State are other programs that are in the mix for Hasan.
The North Carolina native will visit Tennessee this fall for the Vols’ matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks (October 11).
Hasan told On3 this week that Tennessee is one of his “favorites”.
“One of my favorites. Neyland is one of the best environments in the country,” said Hasan. “Everyone knew me there — that felt great.”
It’s still early in this recruiting battle — Hasan said he plans to take his official visits next spring/summer before announcing his commitment — but the Vols have put themselves in a good position for one of the top defensive players in the 2027 recruiting class.
