ESPN ranked the top 100 selections in the 2025 NFL Draft and a former Tennessee Vols standout was included in their rankings.

The Cleveland Browns selected former Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson in the fourth round (No. 126 overall) of this year's draft. ESPN's Matt Miller ranked the Browns' selection of Sampson as the No. 44 best best pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Sampson, a former four-star recruit from Baton Rouge, set the single-season Tennessee record for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in 2024.

From ESPN: The Browns had several value picks in this draft and Sampson was one of the best, with a 62-point swing in terms of grade vs. draft position. His dynamic slashing style forms an ideal thunder-and-lightning pairing with fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins.

Sampson will join former Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman in Cleveland (Sampson and Tillman were teammates at Tennessee in 2022).

The Browns also selected Ohio State Buckeyes running back Quinshon Judkins in the 2025 NFL Draft, which seems to indicate that Cleveland plans to move on from four-time Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb this offseason.
