‘Kentucky has won some really tight games’ – Former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops predicts who will win the Kentucky vs Tennessee game
The Tennessee Volunteers and the Kentucky Wildcats will meet in an extremely important game on Saturday in Neyland Stadium.
Tennessee can make a big statement this weekend with a win against Kentucky.
The Vols are ranked No. 13 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season. The Wildcats are ranked No. 7.
A win over Kentucky should put Tennessee firmly inside the top 10 when the second set of rankings are revealed next week.
Former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops predicts who will win the Kentucky vs Tennessee game
Former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops made his picks for this weekend’s biggest games and he thinks Tennessee will beat Kentucky.
“I’m going to go with Tennessee, being that it’s at home,” said Stoops. “They can’t afford another loss. Kentucky has won some really tight games where they’ve been pretty fortunate. And I’m not taking anything away from them. But sometimes everything doesn’t line up just right for you, and I think that’ll be this week with Tennessee — being that it’s at Tennessee.”
The Vols and the Wildcats are set to kick off at 6:15 PM ET on Saturday. The game will air on ESPN.
