Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Joe Milton has a new home in the NFL.
Milton has spent the first part of the 2026 season on the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad after not making the team’s 53-man roster out of training camp.
On Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles signed Milton off the Cowboys’ practice squad.
The Eagles were in need of another quarterback with starter Jalen Hurts set to miss this week’s game against the Carolina Panthers due to blood clots in his leg.
Tanner McKee is set to start at quarterback for the Eagles in place of Hurts against the Panthers. It’s unclear what Milton’s role with the team will be this week.
