Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Joe Milton connected with a former UT teammate at Dallas Cowboys training camp on Saturday.

Milton, who was traded from the New England Patriots to the Cowboys earlier this offseason, hooked up with former Vols tight end Princeton Fant during a team period rep.

Milton and Fant were teammates at Tennessee in 2021 and 2022 (Milton played at Tennessee from 2021 to 2023, while Fant suited up for the Vols from 2017 to 2022. Fant is one of the very few Vols that played under Butch Jones, Jeremy Pruitt, and Josh Heupel).

Fant was signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent after the 2023 NFL Draft. The former Tennessee tight end has bounced between the Cowboys' active roster and practice squad over the last two seasons (Fant hasn't recorded any stats for the Cowboys, but he's played in 10 career regular season games for Dallas).

Milton, meanwhile, is entering his second season in the NFL after spending his rookie year with the Patriots.
