LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin must have had the Tennessee Vols on his mind to start the week.

Kiffin, who was the head coach at Tennessee in 2009, played the “spooky” version of Rocky Top at LSU’s practice on Monday (H/T TigerBait.com’s Mike Scarborough).

This isn’t the first time since taking over as the head coach at LSU that Kiffin has played the spooky version of Rocky Top in Baton Rouge.

Before Kiffin’s departure from Twitter, he posted a video of the song playing in LSU’s weight room while panning the camera to former Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin (who was hired to Kiffin’s staff earlier this offseason).

LSU will travel to Knoxville in November for a matchup with Tennessee, so maybe Kiffin is just preparing his team for what they’ll hear in Neyland Stadium.

Or maybe he’s just a really big fan of the song.
