The Tennessee Volunteers have plenty of moments they'll remember fondly from their national title run under Tony Vitello in 2024. They were dominant and played with a clear edge.

Those aspects to their team led them to hosting the trophy to end the season of college baseball, and Vitello's team took their next step toward becoming a consistent force in the baseball world.

This weekend, an MLB player made a play that will give Vols fans a great blast from the past.

Blue Jays player makes awesome play at the wall

During the Blue Jays' matchup on Father's Day, outfielder Alan Roden laid his body on the line against the OF wall to make a spectacular catch.

For fans of the Tennessee Vols, this play will look pretty similar to one they'll always remember by a beloved player on the diamond in 2024.

Reminder of Hunter Ensley's play for Vols

During last year's Men's College World Series, Vols outfielder Hunter Ensley made a similar and incredible grab as he crashed into the wall. He also left some eye black remnant on the piece of the stadium in Omaha, Nebraska.

Both plays were incredible and were assuredly appreciated by the rest of those players' squads. Talk about giving it your all for your team. Ensley has always played that way for Tennessee, and Roden seems to also have that in mind for Toronto.
