Gabriel Georges is set to announce his commitment on July 22. He’ll be choosing between the Tennessee Vols and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Recent intel has suggested that Tennessee is trending to land the five-star recruit, and one Ohio State fan is having a tough time with that apparently.

I know fans are passionate, but this is just crazy (and I know all fan bases have fans like this). Gabriel Georges is making the decision that’s best for him, not what’s best for either fan base.
And whether it’s an Ohio State fan or a Tennessee fan saying stuff like this on Twitter or a message board or a YouTube video, Gabriel Georges’ family is seing all of it.
“I’ve been on message boards and watch all the YouTube stuff every day,” said Gabriel Georges’ uncle to On3 last month. “I know how hungry the Tennessee fan base is.”
Too many fans make a high school kid’s commitment personal, when that shouldn’t be the case at all.
