The Tennessee Vols are one of six teams in the mix for 2026 four-star edge rusher Dre Quinn.
Quinn, 6-foot-4/228 lbs from Norcross, GA, is rated as the No. 27 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 28 player in the state of Georgia.
The four-star recruit told On3 this week that Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia Tech are his final six schools.
Quinn plans to announce his commitment later this summer.
“It is a great place to be. Tennessee’s environment is great," said Quinn to On3 of his interest in the Vols. "I really like the atmosphere and it would be great to play in Neyland Stadium. Coach (Josh) Heupel and I are close. He is very relatable. I am close with Coach Chop (Levorn Harbin), Coach (Tim) Banks, and Coach (Rodney) Garner, too.”
Quinn is set to take an official visit to Tennessee on June 20.
Clemson is a team to watch in this battle, but the Vols could certainly make a big impression during Quinn's official visit in June.
Tennessee currently has seven players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, including a commitment from three-star edge rusher CJ Edwards.
