The Tennessee Vols made the cut this week for one of the top in-state players in the 2026 recruiting class.

2026 four-star wide receiver Tyreek King included Tennessee in his top eight schools, along with Alabama, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

King, 5-foot-10/168 lbs from Knoxville, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 33 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 6 player in the state of Tennessee. He's also rated as the No. 183 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

King played in front of Josh Heupel last week in Knoxville and he made the most of his opportunity to impress the Tennessee head coach, scoring early in the game on an 80-yard catch and run.

King will reportedly be in Knoxville this weekend for Tennessee's big game against Alabama.
