Earlier this week, Tennessee Vols athletic director Danny White announced that UT’s upcoming game against the Vanderbilt Commodores in Neyland Stadium is sold out.

It’s the 27th straight sell out at Neyland Stadium.

Vanderbilt and Tennessee are set to meet in the regular season finale on November 29 in Knoxville.

A Vanderbilt fan replied to White’s tweet and suggested that the only reason the game is sold out is because of Commodores fans.

“Shoutout to Vandy fans for helping y’all sell it out,” tweeted the Vandy fan.

“Yeah, that must’ve been what got us there,” replied White.

Vanderbilt is having a great season — the Commodores could reach the College Football Playoff if they win out (they’re off this weekend before finishing the season against Kentucky and Tennessee).

But Vandy has absolutely nothing to do with Neyland being sold out for the 27th straight game — just like the Commodores had nothing to do with the other 26 sellouts in this current streak.
