Former Tennessee Vols forward Tobias Harris went viral on Thursday night during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
And it was a moment that Harris would love to forget.
In the first quarter, Harris was crossed up so badly by Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell that he fell to the floor with an apparent injury.
Harris, a first-round selection in the 2011 NBA Draft, stayed in the game, but the viral clip made its way across social media all night long.
Eventually, fans noticed via another angle that Mitchell actually grabbed Harris’ knee as he drove to the basket.
Mitchell was probably going to get by Harris anyway, but the knee grab certainly made it difficult for the former Vols standout to keep his balance.
Harris, though, got the last laugh as the Pistons won the game 107-97 to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
Harris scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 37 minutes of action in the win.
