No wonder the Vols were so fired up in their 69-3 win against the Mocs — they were clearly ready to go.
Sampson, by the way, has developed into a key team leader for the Volunteers. The Baton Rouge native took on a bigger leadership role immediately after the Vols' win against Iowa in the Citrus Bowl, challenging his teammates to get right back to work after Tennessee's blowout win against the Hawkeyes.
