2025 four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett decommitted from Georgia earlier this month after being committed to the Bulldogs for a little over two months.
Garrett, 6-foot-4/285 lbs from Bogart, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 18 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 16 player in the state of Georgia.
According to Rivals.com, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee are the three programs in the mix for Garrett.
Over the last few days, rumblings have suggested that Georgia Tech is the team to beat for Garrett. But the talented recruit told Rivals.com that Tennessee is in the "same position" as the Yellow Jackets.
"Tennessee has been in the mix with me," said Garrett. "They never stopped recruiting me since I committed either. They're in the same position Tech is."
Tennessee fans won't have to wait long to find out if Garrett will be wearing Orange and White in 2025. The four-star recruit told Rivals.com that his decision is expected "sooner than later".
