On3 noted on Thursday that Tennessee is trending for 2025 four-star safety Jaylan Morgan. Their note on Morgan comes after 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong placed a prediction that has Tennessee landing Morgan.

Morgan, 6-foot/170 lbs from Rockvale, TN, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 12 safety in the nation and the No. 6 player in the state of Tennessee. He's also rated as the No. 196 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
Morgan told 247Sports that Tennessee's one of his top schools in October after visiting UT for the Vols' win against Texas A&M.
“They’re definitely one of the top schools, because they care about me in an all-around aspect, not just (as) a football player,” said Morgan to 247Sports. “They’re not just trying to check on my stats. They’re checking on my family, making sure my family’s good, and I really like that. So they’re obviously top-tier.”
Tennessee currently has three players committed to their 2025 recruiting class.
