There was a mini scuffle after the Texas vs Tennessee game for the silliest reason
The Tennessee Vols fell to the Texas Longhorns 20-17 in Neyland Stadium on Saturday afteroon.
The Tennessee Vols came up just short against the Texas Longhorns on Saturday, falling 20-17 in Neyland Stadium.
After the game, as players were exiting the field, there was a brief “mini scuffle” when a Texas staff member tried to wrangle the game ball from Tennessee cornerback Kayin Lee.
It looked like Lee was able to make it to the tunnel without giving the ball up.
I assume Texas wanted the game ball because of the huge day that Longhorns pass rusher Colin Simmons had — five sacks — but I don’t blame Lee for not giving it up (the home team provides the footballs).
