The New Orleans Saints have a job to do tomorrow.

They need to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If they do, they will be right behind the Bucs in the NFC South. It will put even more pressure on Tampa Bay.

Unfortunately for the Saints, the Bucs caught a break earlier today.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a broken foot. He is out for the season.

The 49ers play the Bucs next week.

The injury comes just the week after the 49ers shutout the Saints.

If New Orleans would hav been able to play San Francisco without their starter, it may have been a different outcome. That’s not how it works, though.

Instead, the Bucs will get to face the 49ers with their backup QB, Brock Purdy. That may go a long way for Tampa Bay if it is a low-scoring affair between them and the 49ers.

The Saints must take care of business this week.
