The Atlanta Falcons did not make it to the playoffs (again) this year but they sure had a busy Wild Card Weekend.
On the search for their next head coach, Atlanta interviewed three candidates on Friday and Saturday: Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, and San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks.
The Falcons also plan to interview two more on Sunday, Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and Ravens defensive line coach and associate head coach Anthony Weaver.
All interviews have been held virtually since in-person meetings are prohibited by the league until the NFL Divisional Round of the playoffs wraps up on Jan. 21.
Additionally, the Falcons have requested to interview Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, and most recently, Las Vegas Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce.
