While the Buffalo Bills certainly have their own questions – namely, what the offense will look like without Stefon Diggs – they are by no means underdogs.
In an appearance on NFL Network's "The Insiders." Bills' veteran offensive lineman Dion Dawkins made it clear that he believes otherwise.
Dawkins: "Everyone is counting us out"
Dawkins dropped the quote of the summer that Bills Mafia will certainly rally around.
"You know, we're shooting for the stars, like, everybody's counting us out, which I'm cool with, you know. Like, we could fly underneath the radar and hit everybody with uppercuts. So, I'm perfectly fine with it," Dawkins said.

It's a great quote, and Dawkins can believe whatever he needs to keep his edge, but the Bills are by no means underdogs. On most sportsbooks, you'll find Buffalo with the best odds to win the division, even with the offseason changes in personnel.
Dawkins speaks about the offense without Stefon Diggs
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero brought up the offseason changes to the roster, asking Dawkins about how the dynamics change both in the locker room and on the field, particularly for the offense, with Diggs no longer on the roster.
"I think every year the team looks different. We play in a league where there's going to be changes of pieces, that pieces are going to shuffle, the chessboard pieces are going to do what they do," Dawkins said. "But when you lose a guy like Stefon [Diggs], you lose a lot of character, like you lose a lot, a lot of character, and you love a lot of, I would say, attitude and swag, because you know, Josh [Allen] is very calming. Diggs is very comfortable and who he was, and he brings a lot of energy everywhere."

Dawkins continued to say that the "people upstairs" do a good job of keeping the guys consistent and without drastic changes.
"We have guys that have learned, we have guys than have been there, and we have guys that are going to fill those positions," Dawkins continued.
"Diggs is one of my favorite teammates, man. He was one of my favorites. He was his self, and he had a lot of passion. And I think if we're talking about bigs because he's the biggest one, he's the biggest change employer and, I mean shoot, man, you are right. There is a lot of guys that are not there, but this is the NFL. Guys come and guys go and guys have to be ready."
The roster is certainly going to look different, but players will be ready.
