Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes owes Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen a debt.

And Allen hasn't forgotten about it.

The Bills and the Chiefs are set to face off this weekend at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. On Wednesday, Allen was asked about his relationship with Mahomes.

Allen and Mahomes are friends away from the field, which led to a friendly wager between the two superstar quarterbacks earlier this year.

In Week One of the 2023 college football season, Wyoming and Texas Tech, Allen's and Mahomes' alma maters, respectively, played each other in Laramie, WY.

And Wyoming came out on top via a 35-33 win in double overtime.

Allen told reporters on Wednesday that Mahomes still owes him because of their wager.

"Everyone knows we golf a little bit together," said Allen. "He still owes me something for that Wyoming/Texas Tech game. So we'll figure that out soon."

I'm sure Allen would settle for a turnover from Mahomes on Sunday, but I have a strong hunch that the defending Super Bowl MVP won't be agreeing to anything like that.

For now, Allen and Mahomes are each focused on this week's matchup and the rest of the season. They can settle their debts in the offseason when I'm sure they'll be seeing each other on the golf course a time or two.
